Random quote: "I don't think stumpy is worth a #*#* right now either".....Kly and Tuffy1 talking about the spots to hit for the WMT. (The winning fish was caught in this spot LOL)

Not a boatload of activity on this corner of the site, but I thought it might be fun to see what folks would like to see if they could put a stocking by the fireplace to fill with what they would wish for in next year's tournament line-up. I'll start with my own pet-peeve and that's what I call "tournament traffic jam." I believe it was this past September 11th when we concluded that there were at least seven different tournaments going on, and I know there were at least three that I personally really wanted to fish. So, my holiday wish is that all the folks who are putting on tournaments next year get together over a really big mug of egg-nog somewhere over the holidays and make a schedule that allows for a lot less overlap of dates. I agree Marty. NPAA has a tournament partner program that all of the Tournament Directors should get involved with. It will not only help promote their tournaments but NPAA will also be a keeper of the calender. Now I know that many permit applications have already been filed but if everyone knew what everyone else was doing, maybe we would not have 2 or 3 good tournaments on the same weekend. Wishful thinking I know.

As far as tournamnets go, I would like to see the following lakes on the list:

St Clair
St Croix River
North and South Twin
Three Lakes
Kincaid

Bemiji
Lake of the Woods
Cass or Leech
Vermillion

these are good for starters

A inexpensive tour something more about skill than money.
