Does anyone change out the hooks on the 8inch model? If so what size are you using? Thanks.

Mustad 3551 4/0 on front and back, 3/0 on middle.

I have used all three sizes of the 3565 Mustad hook (1/0, 2/0, & 3/0). I think that the 1/0 is the standard hook that comes with the lure. I generally use the 1&2/0 sizes most. depending on how much hang time I want on the lure. When using the 3/0 you will need to eliminate the middle hook.

Thanks guys. Anyone running Eagle Claw 774s? I would guess you could put 2 4/0 on and skip the middle hook.

try 3/0 mustad round bend hooks....i use these hooks for all the lures i make....
