I have a Deep running Cisco kid with the Metal bill.

It does some really weird things on the retrieve. Seems to randomly pump up and down.

I've tried trolling and casting.

How are you using this lure ?

Just looking for some feedback as I doing something wrong.

I use it the same way as an Ernie or Depth Raider. Lots of hard rips and pauses. It's a great bait that is easier to throw than an Ernie.

I haven't seen the 'up down' pumping action you're talking about so I can't comment on that. Maybe check to make sure there's no binding at your attachment points. I troll and cast them. Remember you can bend the lip for different depths and action. The flatter or straight forward the lip the tighter the wiggle is and deeper it will go. Bend it down and the wiggle gets wider. A simple, basic lure but works great.

The lip is bent too far down. If the lip is bent too far down the cisco will not wiggle but only pump up and down as you say. Bend the lip up and the wiggle will come back. If you can tune it to get the pump and the wiggle you will have an awesome lure!!!!
