Good news. My new telescopic rods are ready to ship as well as new removable handle rods in black and camo wrap. All rods are back in stock. Happy to offer ALL rods delivered to USA for $110 and Canada for $120 until the end of October. Both Musky Tackle Online (Aaron) and Big Wood Musky Lures (Kyle) will be taking orders too. If you do not see the rod you want on their website just email them and they will take care of you. You can also email me at [email protected] if you want me to invoice you directly for a musky rod. Most of these rods are in the 10oz-13oz weight range and have great action. The 9' telescopic rods collapse down to 7'6". Always Qs on warranty, over the last year I have had very few issues but on those few cases I have yet to make one person adhere to the 2yr warranty restrictions. I have taken care of these few issues 110%. LOL only had 6 guys actually fill out the warranty cards anyway out of 800+ rods sold.

Sorry about the poor pictures. I need to retake them but I was rushed to get them up last night at 1:30am.
See the rods and specifications at: http://www.tackleindustries.com/muskypikerods.html
Big Wood: http://www.bigwoodmuskylures.com/
Musky Tackle Online: http://www.muskytackleonline.com/

Camo rods were made with Veterans in mind and will be the same rods to be donated to various events over the wintertime so if you want one of those and do not need it right away and plan on attending one of the auction events feel free to wait and bid em up!

Thanks again for all of the support and feedback on the rods. These are customer comment/built rods for the most part.

The one in two weeks? If so, yes. I will also be at the MI show in Feb. 2011.

minid's are awesome, I've caught alot of muskie and pike on them! alot of big fish like the msize of baits too, you don't always have to throw pounders that's for sure!

Thanks James. Got my new telescopic last week with the Booty Tails and have already boated three. Perfect rod weight and balance on these. Feel just like my St. Croix but for 1/3 the price. Keep it up!

Hey James -
Love the new split grip. Which one do you recommend for throwing 8 ounce dawgs - the mega or mag rods? As a point of reference, how does the stiffness or actions compare to the st croix big dawg rods (premier or legend)?
Thanks

Landry, the 9' XH is a great dawg rod, I throw everything from double 7's to James Mega D's on that rod. I also love it for 10" Weagles to.....

the mega will throw all those, and the mag's will to.. its unbelievable how the rods are very perfect with the right tips.. they are so forgiving.. i have even thrown the lightest baits with the mega its rated for 8 to 36 and it will throw 1 /12 oz baits with ease and they really rip a pounder or a d10 or d13 into a fig 8 like there's no tommorow.....

i also have a booth at the 2011 Michigan musky show right next to james.. make sure to stop by and see us....bill

My rods will be at a shows this year. Right now they will be in the Top Predator booth at Chicago, Milwaukee and the MN Musky Expo along with my lures. I hope to get Tom a good variety of rods for the shows. If you like any but they are out you can still get them from Musky Tackle Online or myself after the show for $110 delivered. They will be priced at $110 at the shows too. A guide or two may also be carrying them at a few shows and I will also have them at the MI Musky Expo in February in my booth. First ever Tackle Industries booth at a musky show so please stop by and at least say hello. Would be nice to meet a few of you finally!
Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

James telescopic rods were awesome. Got both a split grip and a fat cork XH's from him this fall and they are great!! For those with shorter storage who like to lock stuff up or just to put them away at the end of the day works real slick. No issues whatsoever and the rods handled everything I could do with them like a charm.

FYI- Kevin Cochran will also have the XH and XXH telescopic rods in his booth at the Chicago and MN musky shows. He will also have them available at his place in Bemidji, MN if anyone wants to see them.

Tackle Industries rods and lures will be also be at the Chicago Show, WI and MN shows this year in the Top Predator Booth. Rods will be at the $110 special too. Tom will also have an assortment of Tackle Industries lures if you have never seen them in person and wanted to check the quality out and great prices.
