I am looking for a new used boat and I recently saw a Ranger 618 with a 115 Johnson on it, this sounds like it is under powered. Does anyone have a similar set up?

It's rated for a 150. With a 150 I got mid to upper 50's for speed. I'm sure with a 115 it would get to the low to mid 40's.
Loved it for muskie fishing, did fine on all normal sized bodies of water, but once you get out on big water I did not like the boat. Just to small.

I have 2 friends with a 115 on the back of their 618's. Plenty of motor and both hit 40-41 fully loaded. If you need to go faster than that, probably should motor up.
