Random quote: "I don't think stumpy is worth a #*#* right now either".....Kly and Tuffy1 talking about the spots to hit for the WMT. (The winning fish was caught in this spot LOL)

I have been thinking about getting back into luremaking. Made a few a couple years ago, bought a cheap airbrush and hated it, so I rattlecanned them. What is everyone using as far as brushes and paints, and why?

If you hated your air brush, I suppose the cause of your problem was the paint you used. I used some very cheap chinese airbrushes and even thow I managed to get nice results.
So what was your problem with your airbrush anyway?

I got a Testor's airbrush, it wouldn't spray consistently, and it would always clog. Using Testors paint as well.

I use a remarkably cheap airbrush I got from Harbor Freight, with Createx paints. It does take regular maintenance, cleaning, fussing, etc. to keep it clear and working well, but it does work well. It takes some practice, and I'm not great with it yet, but I've been pleased so far!
