| Anyone know of a bait shop closer to Namekagon than Hayward? Gonna be up there in th fall and don't want to have to drive 30 miles if I don't have to. |

| In the small town of Clam Lake, there is a bait shop across from the gas station that should have some! |

Location: Minnesota | There's a bait shop on the south end of Cable right on Hwy 63. I didn't stop in there, so I don't know if they sell suckers or not, but I'd have to imagine they do. That's probably your best bet.
Clam Lake will also probably have them, but that's quite a ways out of the way if you're coming up 63 from Hayward.
The BP in Drummond right on 63 has live bait. They probably don't have muskie sized suckers, though.
The gas station on the corner in Grand View has live bait. I don't know about suckers, though.
The bait shop at the marina at Lakewoods Resort on County Rd M has suckers. Not sure of the size, though. You can probably put your boat in there, too, so you can get suckers when you launch.
The Loon Saloon on Cty Rd D has live bait, but probably not big suckers.
Those are all of the bait shops I'm aware of near Namekagon. |

Location: Northwest Wisconsin | Wouldn't hurt to call the shops listed above and ask them if they can special order them. Usually what I had to do in last fall here in Iron River. Shop would have to know before weds , bait delivered on thursday. Same with ashland 1/2hr east of me.

| The Happy Hooker on Upper A off 77 has them. About halfway between Clam Lake and Hayward. Probably the closest real bait shop. |
