Posts: 184 | no its not the honey b. i repainted and cleaned it up so i don't know how well a pic would help but on the bottom it said "lil honey" and it is a killer for sure when they want something small around here (5", 6.5"w/ lip). its a deeper diving plug and a flat shad profile w/ thinner tail. never seen one before or since and it is made of really light cedar and is wire though. thanks for your time so far and if i didn't lend it out to a friend to fish w/ this weekend i would post a pic. Posts: 1887 Location: syracuse indiana | i agree it does resemble a a big m but most baits these days are done from the same design as another.. but the big m wont float or run like that one would if its made out of cedar

Hey Zach2626. I made the 'Lil Honey' baits several years ago. Also made the "Alleycat". I am no longer making lures due to limited free time. The wife, 2 kids, a fulltime job and a muskie addiction keep me busy. Glad to hear you done well on the bait! Cliff Honeycutt

Posts: 184 | cliff, thanks for your response. i had the epoxy lift so that was the only reason i tried to repaint it. very well balanced bait and i wish you made more of them. they do well on smaller lakes and at tough times. ps. i don't fish big m's, only wood baits here!
