| This is 1 of 2 muskies caught in twenty minutes on a fouled bulldawg. I hate it when the lures fouls and I have to drag it back in....but after this day, I'm fishing this big mess of rubber...I don't care how fouled up it is!!!
Has anyone ever caught a muskie on a fouled lure?? |

| While I've never actually caught one on a fouled bait, I've had strikes on fouled lures. Usually this has happened after twitching a crankbait, the bait gets fouled on the leader, and then I start speed reeling it back to the boat to fix the mess...KABOOM! |

| I've had that happen when a suick snagged my leader + I had a backlash from casting upwind. After I settled the backlash, which took me 10 minutes or so, I quickly reeled the suick back. KABOOM a pike grabbed it. But when I try to speed my suick back with a similar retrieve I get no strikes or not even a follower. |
