| We just got back from LSC.Tackle shops are few and far between.Your best luck at scoreing some musky stuff is Anglers Point Marina on the north side of the Selfridge air force base.Gerry has a nice selection of bait and other goodies.

Location: Kodiak, AK | Angler's Point and the BP gas station at 9 Mile and Jefferson are top notch. The BP is half gas station/half bait shop, which doesn't always sound like a good deal, but Jackie has everything you need, including Canadian licenses if you want to fish Canuck side. Mid-lake there's Jimmy's on Jefferson between Crocker and 16 Mile. It's a smaller shop, but he's got alot of good gear and Byron is a good guy and will do you right. |

Location: Michigan | The fly covered it... How can it be that the most densely populated natural muskie fishery (and arguably most heavily fished) on the planet can't support a major muskie tackle retailer... We need an R&H or Thorn franchise here... |

Location: Freedom, WI | That is the reason that Greg Ellison from Traxstech is starting this show. http://www.michiganmuskieshow.com/ Site is not done yet but the show is the first weekend in February 2011, there will be all kinds of stuff to buy from manufacturers. It will not be just a trolling show but casting and trolling, he has room for 140 booths and 100 are full already. The emphasis is equipment and manufacturers. |
