I have a new 8'-6 St Croix LT musky rod that my son got me for father's day and am trying to figure out where to store it when not in use. I was thinking of a rod rack in the top if my garage but am concerned because of the heat out there. Does anyone know if this will be a problem? Any suggestions??

Can't be any hotter than sitting on the deck of the boat on a 100 degree day. I am no expert, but mine sit under my cover outside next to my house all summer and I don't have any issues.
