Looking for some feedback on these reels, are they holding up? I know people who love the old Curado 300s and wondering how the new ones perform.

Love mine.....I have it mated with a Legend Tourney jerkbait rod ("The Jerk") and it's absolutely perfect for that application IMO.

I have 2 of the older models, just before the new darker color came out 1-2 years ago. I use one for small bucktails and even bass swimbaits and jigs. The other I have on a 7' jerkbait rod. They are an awesome reel. Can be used for anything but really large baits and double blades.

Highly recommend.

I m in love with mine. Used from small bucktails to pounders. It was my primary dcg reel last year till I bought saltist. It's best reel ever!

I just got one and it seems to work good for jerkbaits and wtd lures like Weagles. Also decent for topwaters.

Some of you guys need a lesson in burrning. I think a 300e olny takes 29" per crank. That's not burrning!!
I would love to have a 300e for jerkbaits though.

There are a couple of new parts on the 300e's...
-Titanium insert in the levelwind to prevent line fray because the reel has a disengaging levelwind
