Hi, I recently built a front deck extension for my 618T. I actually built two. I have one made of treated 3/4 inch plywood that fills in the ankle breaker step and adds a couple extra feet of standing room to the front deck. It also has a cutout for extra storage underneath( measured it out so it would hold a small lakewood and plano storage boxes). This one has no carpet, but fits nicely with a 3/16 gap all the way around to allow for the carpet. If anyone local is interested in it drop me an email at [email protected]. I decided I wanted to make one out of untreated wood so I can glass it in. I'd be willing to sell it pretty cheap since I have no need for it. All you have to do is put carpet on it. I'm in the southwest suburbs of Chicago.
Thanks,
Matt
