I have a 3 year old Crestliner Canadian 16.5 ft with a 40hp merc. I have a 6 gallon removable gas tank. I want to buy another one identical to the one we have. It looks like it has a Moeller cap with vent.

We are going to Canada in September and want to have a full spare in the boat. I contacted Crestliner but no word from them yet. There are similar looking ones online, but not sure if they have the correct Merc gas line link.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
