| I recently bought the new Lakemaster Insight chip for my HDS 10. I have the latest software version, and have also performed a soft reset. Still, I am unable to view lakes in 3D shaded relief as advertised. Anyone know of a setting that needs to be adjusted in order to make this option available? Thanks in advance for any help. |

| I am currently not near an hds unit but you will need to select the 3d view option. You might try try calling lakemaster otherwise or looking in your manual. The 2d view is nice for giving a bold distinction between shallow and deep water views. 3d is nice for overall lake perception. |

| With Chart displayed, it's either the first or second menu button push. It's a small toggle button about halfway down the list that can easily be missed, should say 2d by default.
Now if I could only figure out how to get a decent sonar return in the weeds... |
