Why do the videos when uploaded on your site lose quality? Should I be using a different format? A YouTube clip embedded is much more true and clear.

Try contacting me directly, and I'll help you with the settings you need to use. We use H264 server side encoding, and will soon have HD 16:9 available. Any video here should be much clearer than You Tube if it's produced correctly. Are you using a PC or a Mac, and what are your export settings?

The results you should expect:

We have completely changed our encoding system but the new system is still only deployed internally - look at any recent AIM videos for samples. The quality is very good, and encodes HD if you upload HD as well as an iPhone/pad version. It will go into production for all users soon.
