I dont' think the "leopards" are hybrids, but have a unique pattern to them.

They say they only exist on Eagle.

But fishermen say a lot of things.

The problem I have with the term "leopard tiger" is that one term suggest spots and the other suggest stripes. The reason that hybrids get the term "tiger" attached to them is because of the vivid strips they have. When they don't have those stripes, can you still call them a "tiger"?

The "Eagle Lake only" theory is not accurate, the guide in the photo Brad posted, Dean, does not fish anywhere near Eagle and is based out of the Nestor Falls area.

Beautiful big tiger big perc but it looks like every other tiger that's been put in my boat. 9 from minnesota and two from Canada so far. Pretty sure it's just a nice regular tiger musky. That "leopard" one what every it is looks AWESOME! I'd love to get a replica made of a 50+ of one of them!

You guys need to read closer what's being typed. In the pic that Brad posted it clearly stated that is is a true muskie not a HYBRID as Big Perc has shown (like the previous poster noted looks just like most other hybrids I've seen) as a "leopard tiger" hybrid that some are claiming only occurs in Eagle Lake.

Thats a sweet looking fish! Good luck seeing that one laying in the weeds! Maybe natural selection is favoring more camouflage now.
