I've got a question for those of you that make your own silicone or rubber bucktail skirts. There area quite a few methods used by the Bass guys, but I'm not sure what is best for bigger skirts. One option is to use copper wire to attach them to a brass skirt holder, the other is to use a tool and make them with the little rubber bands and slip them onto the component. What holds up the best?

The best two methods are to use a zip-tie and a drop of superglue. The way i do it is use 15-30lb sevenstrand double looped through a crimp cinched tight and then crimped with vise grips. Both work.
