My Dad's got an old X-15CT... from 2000-2001... with 3.1.0 software. Does anyone know what mapping chip(s) will be compatible with this unit? I tried to install the '09 Lakemaster and it didn't read.

Thanks in advance for any help.

How about updating the software, would that help?

The 3.1 update is the last update for that unit. I will find out this afternoon what chips are compatible with that unit.

Thanks TJ. I played around with it for a while and got it to work. It seems like the unit got used to the chip, although the refresh times are a bit slow due to the high detail. Any additional tips are welcome. Also... if anyone has any old Lakemaster or Navionics chips ('05-'08) they'd like to get rid of, please pm or email me. Thanks again.

I talked with the Tournament support Lowrance Rep this afternoon that was on hand at the Mobridge, SD MWC event and he said Lakemaster chips should work in that unit. He said you'll need the lowest end Navionics chip they make now, those should still work in that unit.

Lakemaster works as I have one in each of my 15's.
