Where are you headed this weekend to put the point across to a Muskie?

I'll be in South Dakota at a Masters Walleye Circuit tournament, so no fishing for us this weekend.

You?

My 'olders' always told me 'someday you will enjoy watching others catch fish more then you will enjoy catching them yourself",,I always thought "what are you on" but actually this sat I will have a blast watching and helping vets at the Fort snelling vets home opener where we put up a trout pond and the vets get to catch the trout,,,if your in the twin cities area swing by it is VERY cool,,,,,,,,,,then its off to "Iron Man 2"

Jonesi, crawler-tipped Rooster Tail or Panther Martin on a walleye rod. Used to infuriate my Montana buddies when I'd out-fish their flies EVERY time we went out.

I'm planting corn on the family farm in Platteville this weekend, YEEHAWWW!

They're predicting upwards of 2"-4" here in the Fox Valley tonight continuing into early tomorrow morning... I still can't believe it.

I'll be fishing the "ever popular" Pewaukee Lake Muskie Classic to benefit the programs of the Milwaukee Chapter of Muskies, Inc. This year two more area lakes have been added and the banquet is slated to be a really big deal as the winter shindig was canceled and this is to be our major fundraiser. No money prizes, trophies are not big enough to cheat for and everybody always has a really nice time at this. Fish really hard or stop at every watering hole all day long--totally laid back. It just started snowing here in Antigo about 1/2 hour ago. They're calling for 2-4".
We were going to hit Pelican for some eyes but I don't know.
Is it even worth going out? Probably won't catch a thing with this front.

I ended up with 4" on my deck this AM. This pic was taken yesterday afternoon.

This is the best snowman making snow we've had all year. Won't last long but there is a freeze warning up for many areas of the state. Cover them plants if you have them out!

Go to the office. Work like hell. Make pasta sauce for a break. Go out at night and hunt like hell. Wish you were in the north country casting for northerns.
Love the snow photos. Nature usually wins.
