| The weedbeds in allens bay have been good since June. Midlake humps are my favorite but I see a lot of musky hunters on the shoreline weeds also so I am sure they are seeing fish too. The west side of Potato Islands is good also. People really love this visual structure to cast to so it can be pressured.
The big lake has been producing nicely too with most fish being seen on scrub areas and open water just off steep breaks. Rocks and reeds should be producing anytime now with deep sand and rock to follow. Of course, local weather patterns are important.

| Released a 50+ from Cass last night. Big fish, thick and heavy with a huge head. I could hardly lift her. She was just sitting up on a shallow bar that dropped to 40' around 9:00pm. She appeared to have something very large in her belly, I could see it bulging out. Caught it on that new pearl white stalker crankbait. [:)] |
