Posts: 75 | Bill Gobtop I fish a lake where the shad are the main prey. The shad have just started hitting the bank to spawn. Should I fish jerk baits near the shad or is there a better method at this time of year?

Posts: 267 Location: Lake City,Pa. | Matt Maher and Judy Bowen, My ? is, can there be to much bait fish to trigger a Musky to strike? Example: We fish here in Erie in the bay and troll the main channel out into the lake and we will come across massive bait fish schools sometimes 50 yards long from top to bottom, how would you fish it?

Posts: 1185 Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | Name: Joe Junion Question: Is the side finding / down imaging technology as good as I'm hearing or is it just the regular buzz about something new? Would it actually be that great for musky fishing (casting or trolling)? Does it really justify dropping the $2,000 - $3,000 on one unit? I would like to hear real stories from musky guys who have used it. Lowrance or Humminbird any difference / preference? I would like to hear from someone who is unbiased (like not on a Lowrance pro staff) and actually uses them for casting for musky and trolling for musky. Naturally anyone in the selling these things business is going to tell you how great it is.
