I bought a used 08' pro map and I can't get my graphs to show me the contours. I have tried resetting the graphs, making sure the chip is in the graph before I power it up. I also know the graph is reading the card because it shows up under browsw files. What am I doing wrong. The graphs are a x-25 and a lms 332.
Thank you

If you hit Menu, then go to Map Data, you'll see a drop down arrow. Go in there and select the Lakemaster chip.

Yeah, check the map data, it might also be under Lowrance. Lowrance is the default and the lakemaster overlays the base map. If it is on Navionics, then you will hear the chip "chirp" but no maps. Last, zoom all the way out and see if you can view a box around Wisconsin for example, this show the area loaded with the chip.

Weird. My 06 Lakemaster is plug-n-play with both my Lowrance units. Pop it in, close the door, 2 seconds or less, and ba-bling noise....ya got contours.

Navionics chip was the way the above poster described. Had to go "get it" in the map data menu.

Lakemaster's are plug and play, unless you have the unit set to Navionics. Then it will read but not display.

The graph says Lowrance, not navionics but it still won't read the card. The chirping sound happens everytime I put the chip in but no maps. Is there a way to change the graph over from Navionics to Lowrance? Is it possible that this person tried to copy the card and it erased itself? I have heard of that happening to others who try to cheat the system.
