This one is like 14 years old. I found it in my shed digging out my lawnmower. It is kinda goofy as it looks like it has two staples on the back of it.

Could be a Ready Eddie....made by infamous lure maker from Ellwood City, PA Ed Latiano. Those "staples" are actually part of the hook hanger down below which runs through the width of the lure itself. If in fact it is an original Ed Latiano, I would hold on to it because it will be worth some money....although the paint-job does not look original to me...hard to tell by these photos.

I will try to post better pics tonight. It has a very crude feel to it. Not a smooth finish like most baits now days.

Eddie Bait. Not worth a whole lot to collectors. The "staples" are more than likely cotter pins used for hook hangars. The rough feel to it is because it wasn't sanded smooth. Without a thick coating, one can feel the grain of the wood.
