| There have been a few posts out on this topic already, but I would like to know if anyone has a Lowrance, Humminbird, Garmin, or RayMarine GPS unit that has the Sirius or XM radar antenna package - and can confrim that the radar works on Lake of the Woods. And, by LOTW, I am referring to the full range of the lake from - NW Angle to Kenora to Morson, etc...
I have gotten conflicting answers from the GPS manufacturers and XM as well as to coverage into Canada. I'm hoping someone can provide a definitive answer as to if the weather radar does or does not work on LOTW Before, I spend $1-2K+, I wanted to get some first hand input from an owner.
Thanks for any first hand knowledge. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I have not owned the Sirius Radar, but have used it with some friends. I've touched based with both of my Lowrance Technicians and they both have been told it's suppose to work, that's what they've been told from Sirius. However, they advised checking with Sirius to be 100% certain, it'll be their issue whether or not it'll work outside of the US.
Your probably not going to get much user feedback on this yet since it was just released to the general public late last summer or early fall. |

| TJ - You mention you have used this? Where have you used it? In the U.S. or in Canada? |
