You see my dad is trying to find a used trolling motorfor his boat he just bought (2002 618vs ranger) and he wants a Power Drive because it has the foot pedal that he is used to. Now my question is, do any other models offer the foot pedal?

V-2, Terrova, and one of the Motor Guide's offer it.

Try getting a hold of an authorized service center and you can sometimes pick up a reconditioned motor at a discount and you still get a one year warranty.

I would try to get him to look at the Terrova, the foot pedal is very stream lined very few buttons and if he adds some newer functions like I-pilot, or auto pilot all the functions will work with the foot pedal. I-pilot on the PD makes the pedal non functioning.
