Hi Guys, I have an older boat with a terrible paint job and am looking to put a new one on in the next few weeks. My question is; are there any optimal colors to paint your boat if given the opportunity? I know Borovsky had a clothing line out that imitated the sky so he wouldn't spook fish coming in....would the same school of thought apply with boat color? Any thoughts/opinions are much appreciated. I need all the help I can get so if a minor detail like this will help then I might as well do it with the opportunity. Thanks, Ryan Connelly

Posts: 292 | ive had 6 boats and green or white have been the best for fish at boat side. but that is just another thing you do to help your odds in the chase.

If you could paint the underside and/or the sides themselves any one color... I would think one might be more beneficial than the other?

Thanks for the replies so far. Like I said, ANY and ALL thoughts/opinions are appreciated, even if negative or against the idea.

Esoxfly, I just found the other posts about this. Basically the same question. Thanks for pointing that out.
