Did Lowrance ever come up with a fix for the shallow water problem on this and other models (won't read depth under 3' or so)? If so, is it available on their web site, can a guy do it himself, do they give instructions, and which one do I look for? Thanks guys.

Thanks TJ! I was wondering where it went - I thought I put it in Equipment forum the first time and then didn't see it - thought I must have exited before it posted. Appreciate the help. There's nothing I can screw up by doing this, is there? Thanks again

No, not that I know of. Like I said, I'm not completely sure if the 332c has the shallow water mode or not. But once you run through the setup, you'll know if the unit has the options or not. If not, you just won't be able to do it and you'll just exit.
