I've been using lexan lips for years on my lures and have a great way to ensure they do not move. I epoxy them in the slot and when the epoxy hardens I then use a brad air nailer and shoot a 3/4" brad nail thru the bottom of the lure and into the lexan lip.
I now want to start using a metal lip, so my way of using the brad nailer will not work.
Any helpful tips out there?

Don't your lexan lips crack when you shoot the brad through them?!
For metal lips, I drill holes in them and screw them in with small 1/2" screws recessing the screw heads in the body of the bait. The only tricky part is making sure your holes line up perfectly through the bait and the metal lip.

thanks, sounds like a good idea. the great thing about lexan is that it will not crack. If using plexi-glass it would crack
