| Thinking of heading down there for the first time next week to fish the first warm up after ice out. Where are some good close by places to stay or rent in the close vicinity of the lake? Any help is apreciated |

there`s cabins by the lake you can rent but know nothing about them since I`ve never tried to stay in one,this hotel is where most fisherman stay and they have electrical where you would park your boat so you can hook up your onboard. |

Location: Antioch, IL | Just checked the weather report. Looks decent, but sounds like it will be take a number and get in line fishing. (Road Rules, IMTT Tourney and a lot of cabin fever) We fall into the cabin fever catagory and will have four boats on the water Thursday-Sunday.
Found what could turn out to be a great place to stay. (Deer/Turkey guide service in the area has a farmhouse that sleeps up to twelve.) Looks nice online. I'll report back if it lives up to the potential |
