thursday at the peoria il gander mountain i bought a beckman fin saver pen 34x36 net for 49.98. this net retails 134.99 at rollie and helens i already have this net but i was going to get a replacement bag for it in the future. instead i got the whole thing cheaper than a replacement bag. $54.10 out the door. they were on clearance with some other nets and there were probably 6 left on thursday. ive never seen a good deal like this at gander mountain before.

What a great deal! I was able to get them to ship it to me and shipping was only 8 bucks. $62 to my house. Thanks for the heads-up.

To those still looking, try the 'Store Locator' to see if any stores may still have some. I started looking in stores from states that I knew had musky fisheries but may not be as popular or as well known (i.e. PA, OH, IN, etc.). I assumed such a sale would not go unnoticed for long in WI and MN

Crudpuckers, I was just at the gander in peoria yesterday! We bought some 50% off bulldawgs for the club but did not see the nets!

Thanks for the great tip. Unfortunately, both the Gander Mtns by my house started whittling down their muskie stuff a year ago. Only Beckman nets there were walleye nets.

Guys,

Call the other stores. At around $8 shipping vs. the gas and time spent physically going to the store, it should be a wash.
