Can't see the bubbles from here 
I just added some eyes to some new plugs and they started to delaminate when I added the epoxy Son of @%$#$!@
Oh well a couple more coats shold fix it.

Location: Land of the Musky | Hit is fast with a plumers torch. Its overkill but it gets teh bubble off real fast. Just run the torch along the lure real fast. I used to just breathe on mine but you get a little light headed after 3 or 4 baits  |

Location: Land of the Musky | When I do 30-40 Grunts at once the torch really makes it go fast. Again, just don't hold it on one spot for more than a second. It will thin out your epoxy and make it run and it won't come back during the drying. Fast sweeps. Just like painting a base coat. Those bubbles just pop off. |

Location: Verona, WI | The other option besides a torch is get a denatured alcohol burner. They sell them at Cabelas for rod making to get the bubbles out of epoxy. Works great and no torch. This coming from a guy who almost burned his garage down ....long story.....

Location: Verona, WI | I use sanding sealer. I soak the bait in it until I do not see any bubbles coming out of it.
What kind of bubbles are you seeing? Are you seeing lots of little ones or a few larger ones? If you are seeing lots of little tiny ones that would indicate you need to use use the torch/denatured alcohol burner or try James's pass out method. If they are a few larger bubbles it would seem to be a sealing problem.

Location: Verona, WI | I put 3-4 coats of clear on mine. I don't use Etex anymore but I use EX-74 which is made by the same guys. Another thing that will help is the dish you are mixing your clear coat in. I mix my clear coat in one container and then dump it in a larger, shallow dish. That also makes the degasing process go better.
