Location: East TN		I am wanting to order me a couple power handles for my 6500's, and I am just wondering if anyone knows if the ones Rollie & Helen's have is the rubberized handle like this....

or are they still the hard plastic handle style like they have shown. I was just kinda assuming the rubberized handle kind is the updated version?

Location: Yahara River Chain		The rubber one is more comfortable for me and it is what I prefer.

Location: East TN		Yes, I want the rubber one....What i'm wondering, is the plastic one R & H shows just the old version, but they actually send you the newer rubber one? They don't actually show the rubber one on Rollie & Helens site.

They are two different part numbers. Get the round soft one. Much better.

Location: East TN		Thanks guys, I shot an email over to R & H, and it is indeed the newer rubber kind that they have, evidently they just haven't updated their picture of the old style.

Location: New Hope MN		Do these handles work for all the Abu 6500's? I have an older reel that i still use & love. Handle got stepped on and has never been the same even after bending it back

Yes they will work on a 4000 series up to a 6000 series. I don't think they will work on a 7000 series. I know the handle retaining nut is larger on a 7000 and I think the hole in this handle is too small.
