Finally I dedicated some time to get the airbrush going. I had a bait that I really liked so I decided to duplicate the color, it’s almost down to the T except for one of the blue bars that hangs a little to far down but I don’t think the muskies will care. Know that I had some time well here it is. Edited by MuskyFix 1/15/2010 7:18 PM Attachments ---------------- Hellhound.jpg (29KB - 144 downloads) hellhoundII.jpg (31KB - 133 downloads)

Thanks I have allot to learn still. I have applied envirotex resin to it with silver poly flake. It really added nice finish to it. Looking forward to using it this year.

I got a chance to do some more airbrushing last night. This is a 8" tuff shad Pearl white with a pearl silver gradient and a light gold gradient running in the middle. it's hard for the camera to pic up the gold but in person but it looks good. I kept this one simple Edited by MuskyFix 2/6/2010 9:07 AM Attachments ---------------- 0206000847.jpg (36KB - 126 downloads)

This really helps with the cabin fever and not being able to get to fish. Painted 3 more last night Wood Chopper, Top Raider and a Baby DR, still learning. I may try auto paints in the future starting to see some disadvantages in using createx paints but one thing is it washes off really easy. I have learned once you get a section the way you like it you may clear coat it, so the next layer could still be washed off. Thanks I ended up putting better eyes on the tuff shad and a thin coat of Envirotex on both of them. Edited by MuskyFix 2/11/2010 8:38 AM Attachments ---------------- 0211000821.jpg (38KB - 134 downloads)
