Man, it sure feels good to be back in
the basement again.

Finished this Rocket Shad in white with gold pearl...
then shot electric blue pearl over it.
The color shifts a bit as the light moves.
Silver and gold hand-painted eyes.
Slightly weighted.

Hope you like it.

I''m in the process of starting about 20 baits. Hope it warms up a bit so I can get out to the paint shop!

Beautiful as always! I love the pearls and have begun using them. I'v got about a dozen i'm working on now. It's not easy not having any open water to test them, all i can do is make sure there weighted correctly and at least work on the paitning practice. Great to see you posting your work again, I've missed it.

Jerry, the Rocket Shad will run about 6 to 10 feet deep while casting and about 14 to 20 while trolling depending upon how much line you let out, line diameter, speed, etc.

Finished a FF Top Dog topwater in 23k gold (walk-the-dog surface bait...8 3/4 inches long). Hope you like it. I really enjoy making these:
