It's been great reading your posts over the year. Good luck and as the other have stated, thank you. Stay safe and if you get the chance take AFchris up on his offer. I grew up in So. Il. and it's a great place to fish.

(you're a good man AFchris)

congrats baldeagle ! . my nephew just completed the Paris Island fun center (LOL) 4 months ago and 10 or 12 addt' weeks at Camp Lejune (sp?) in North Carolina. Super feeling when that basic training ends ? I bet .

the fishing here on southern ohio /NE ky has been sporatic at best. Me and muskie_man get out and chase them in the local creeks all winter. Yesterday the water was perfect and we managed 6 follows , 2 fig 8 eaters but neither got hooks. I was throwing large plastic and all they got was tail I guess. Last night I had by buddy shrink tube the back hook down at a better angle to avoid the hook riding up in the tail of the lure so maybe it will hook up better now. 5 fish were 28-32 inchers , 1 was 36-37. back at it today, slight misty rain , high of 40 , sounds like a great day . BEF,
As others have said, thank you for your service to our country. Stay safe, and I bet when you are home on leave, it'll be a pretty easy deal to find an open seat in a muskie boat.
