I agree, I think voting on the internet would be bad for the musky related votes....imo getting as many of your buddies to go w/ you the nite of and simply getting the word out to as many musky fishermen as you can leading up to the vote is a good way to get more out...I know I plan to corrall a few the nite of the vote...I will bribe them w/ bw3 wings after... ; )

Getting back to an earlier question. What happens if Oneida County votes against the 50" size limit on Pelican Lake? Seeing this will be a Congress advisory question not a DNR rules change question, it will be up to the DNR to make the next move. They can make it a rule change question the following year. Then if passed it goes into effect the following year. Who will be there to vote? Last year when the 50" rule change question came up for Kentuck Lake, the Lake Assoc./LakeDistrict people and the County Assoc. of Lakes were out in force at the Vilas and Forest Co. meetings. They talked against the proposal and persuaded those on the fence or who were lake assoc. members from other lakes to vote with them. They were prepared and their people wanted this voted down bad enough to take a few hours off their busy schedules to show up and VOTE. We must get enough people to vote this down statewide, but most importantly, we must get this voted down in Oneida and surrounding counties. Pelican is close to Langlade county, also. Langlade's vote will be looked at also. If voted down this spring, it should go away, but if it is voted in, we will probably see it again as a DNR rule change proposal.
