Posts: 829 Location: Maple Grove, MN | In my boat, CJs spinner baits for the tenth year in a row. Copper/brown doubles worked best this year overall, but we caught quite a few on the tandem chartruese/black crappie and new large single willow skirted models too.

No kidding same here except mine was a pb of 51 Lee makes outstanding baits! I too had great success with the tidalwave - just a great bait. Lee's chopper put a 53" in the net for me this year.

Posts: 1106 Location: Muskegon Michigan | Guest - 12/6/2009 4:42 PM What was the bait of the year for you? I would have to say mine was probably the Depth Raider. Got any pics of some bittin up or tore up baits from this season! Even though I build most of my stuff my best day and I only went three time in 2009 was 8 fish contacted on an Ace bait Scooter . Top water prop bait. Caught two out of three on it that day and had 8 fish engage the lure. I lost a real good one that day. Kingfisher Edited by Kingfisher 12/15/2009 9:45 PM

Rubber Dubber(Thanks Matt!) and of course a variety of Cowgirls, including Super Models, Originals, and Juniors. The Super Model was like "Muskie Crack" for the dumb 'Sconnie fish, day or night. What am I saying, they're all dumb. Stupid fish have no geographical boundaries! Hahahahahaha. " I'm leavin' the dance with who brought me!"

Posts: 30 | Mine was a particular white bucktail. 50+ fish on one lure. It's currently on it's 3rd skirt, and probably the 5th hook. Here it is next to a brand new version of the same lure (different color, of course). Attachments ---------------- 100_0085.jpg (270KB - 158 downloads)

Posts: 313 Location: Bemidji, Lake Vermilion | Hawg Wobblers. Find them with other baits, all kinds, but when it comes down to crunch time and I know they're getting hungry, I open up the deli and feed em a ham sandwich!! (wind permitting, 3ft waves aren't too much for them are they? lol)

Posts: 767 Location: Ames, Iowa | For catching fish an orange short pin spinner bait with orange blade. For bringing fish to the boat, a black perch 9 inch weighted Suick. This year I was really great at bringing the big girls to the boat...but that was pretty much where they left me. It sure is nice to think of warm water fishing now.
