Okay guys, I'm in the market for a new bow TM. Ranger 690vs - Do I need a 60-62" shaft or will 52" serve me just fine? When she's rockin' and rollin' so much that a 52, set down all the way, comes out of the water - is it realistic to even think that I can still control the boat with the TM in those conditions? Thanks for the advice.

You definitely want a 60 inch shaft, without a doubt!

60" No doubt. And yes, you can still control it. I was pulling my 60" out of the water today in 2'-3'ers moving the boat just fine.
