A couple of weeks ago I posted some pics of musky caricature wood carvings done by mine dear friend Gary Cichy.
Gary and his carvings received very nice comments and emails about purchase.

I'm very sad to tell you that Gary was killed on his job working for Nicor Gas of Illinois on Monday. It was a tragic accident.

Some of you on here may have known Gary personally and if you only met him briefly I think that meeting would have stayed with you for a while as he was a kind and friendly man.

He was my friend.....and I will miss him greatly.

If you could find a moment to remember him in a prayer, he would like that.

Sorry for your loss! I'm from the Chicagoland area also, and had read about the accident too. Gary was very talented. Thanks for sharing his beautiful work!

Aw jeesh. It wasn't two days ago that I showed my woodworking wife pics of his work. What a sad thing to happen to an extremely talented guy.
