Location: New London, Wisconsin | Looking for what you would consider your "go to" lures from now until ice up in Northern WI. Heading up for 5 days. Will be soaking a sucker and casting but curious as to what has worked for you guys in the past.

Crane 10%
Sometimes more or less time with the Reef Hawgs and Suicks but the Eddy gets the lion's share of time. It's just that good. |

Location: New London, Wisconsin | Thanks for all of the replies. No one mentioned DCG's but I've heard guys say they throw them until they bounce off of the ice. Is it just too cold for DCG and the like?

Location: Medford, WI | We've moved fish on DCG's in the fall...don't think we've got one in November ever. With that being said, we don't really throw them very often anymore. I would have no doubt they would work at anytime, just haven't seemed to be as effective as others.
Spinnerbaits have been productive for me though; I like to use them in rocky areas, put a #10 blade on and crawl/skip them across the rocks on the bottom. Got a 48" on a lake you like to fish using that technique 2 years back.

Location: SE Wisconsin | Dawgs, Suicks, Shallow Invaders and Swimming Joes are working great. The Shallow Invaders and Swimming Joes are great attractants to bring in the window shoppers - make your sale with the sucker. |

Location: Downers Grove, IL | I agree with Brad about fishing dawgs over shallow weeds. I've caught a ton of fish doing this, and have my best success ripping through the weed tops. The "thump" or slack line hit is totally addicting.
