Location: Hudson, WI | Headed up to Bone for my annual weekend. I have heard nothing but bad about the bite this year. The spearing certainly didn't help, I know. But I'm doing it anyway, anyone know of anything happening out there? |

| Adam-
Why don't you get out there and do some work figuring out a pattern. Why do you need to harass the rest of us for tips
I actually heard the bite has been ok recently...........look shallow! I predict you get 5 on your trip. Don't be afraid to drag meat in under 6 ft of water, sometimes right over the weeds depending upon where they are currently at.
I know a lot of guys will work the breaks, but this time of year I have had a lot of success with topwater in the shallows depending on conditions. |

Location: Hudson, WI | Sorry to pester you, Tony. I am not mature or good enough to figure things out myself, so I need someone to fish for me.
Funny you say that about shallow water at this time of year. I've had years when the water temps were in the mid-60's and everything came in less than 5 fow. When the temps get below 62 or so, everything seems to come from off the breaks. Either way, I have 12 suckers waiting for death by ambush
I predict 4. A double each day. Pics to follow. |
