| Went out with my wife Saterday night for some quality time. We started at 8:00pm and quit at 11:00pm (moon set). The first fish was a nice 25.5 inch walleye that was released to fight another day then a 36.5 inch muskie was caught at moonset. The lake was empty of muskie fisherman by 10:00pm and we had the lake to our self for the last hour. Couldn't talk her into staying out any longer, maybe tonight I can get out there again after dark for some more action. |

| Spent a week on Vermilion with Chris Drury (Witchdoctor) and the wives. Chris had an outstanding 6 fish day which included 43,44 and 45". I of course blanked that day.....bad net job is my story and I'm sticking to it. I finally got on the board with two dinks, 32 and 36". 2.5 people fishing in 90+ temps boated 10 fish with all but 3 over 40". |

| Fished silver on saturday and pewaukee on sunday. One dinky dink musky. |

| Friday--- left the house at 2;30 A.M. On the water at 4:00. Fished hard til 2:00. Not a thing. Before leaving, I gave one of my favorite weed edges a 2nd. shot, and it rewarded me with a sympathy strike. Brought a nice 42" to the boat, only to realize that the net was back at home in the garage(I had cleaned out the boat to take the family out for the 4th fireworks display). I think the fish felt sorry for me cuz she just layed boatside while I got my measuring stick out of the livewell and placed it alongside her. After a quick measurement( + or - 1"), I started digging in my box for a camera. I guess she was shy, one quick headshake and away she went. The worst thing was, this pumped me up and I ended up fishing til 10:00 P.M. that evening without seeing another fish. Eighteen straight hours for this old body was too much. Took me all weekend to recoup. |

| The only damage I did this weekend was tearing down the garage, and cutting down a few trees. |

| Bite has been a little slow so I decided to try pre-dawn fishing. Was on the water 3:45am Sat. Fished until 9am. Had one blow up on a Hawg Wobbler around 4:15am.. Not sure if I set the hook before I could feel it or if the fish just missed it...
Worked around the ranch the rest of the weekend....from what I've heard it was slow for most others in the area as well.

| FRIDAY I FISHED FROM 7 PM TILL 10 PM. BOATED 2 NICE FAT 43 INCH FISH AND LOST ONE 48 TO 50 NEXT TO THE BOAT. NO NET. WORK ON SAT AND SUND WENT OUT WITH NET AND SEEN ONLY ONE FISH AFTER MY BAIT AND 5 OR 6 PORPUSING. GOTTO LEAVE THE NET AT HOME MORE OFTEN.
