Posts: 283 | How'd you guys do this weekend? I went out friday night for acouple hours which I saw 3 fish with one I screwed up a topwater bait strike ( tidal wave). Then about 10 min later I caught a 35 on the same tidal wave about 5 feet from the boat. Then on Saturday and Sunday I was helping build a hunting cabin on our land all two days so no fishing for me. I will be out on Monday so we will see how it goes then.

Posts: 1286 Location: WI | I had a couple strikes on a Weagle on friday. On saturday my boat partner got a 43" on a bucktail. I work tomorrow but I'm going to hit it in the morning and see if I can't break my slump.

Posts: 32885 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sue put her personal best Hybrid Muskie in the Frabill tonight on a HOT Pink Violent Strike spinnerbait. I was way more excited than she was. She handled the fight well ( this fish skied while I was getting the net, etc). After the fish was in the net Sue put on her Musky Armor gloves, picked the fish up for some quick images, and shoved her back in the pond. Cool stuff for this old man's fishin' buddy. Had the hat camera fired up, so check out the video. Attachments ---------------- DSC_0180.JPG (46KB - 93 downloads)

Posts: 103 | Saturday morning I fished for a couple hours without any action. Sunday night/Monday morning I fished for ten hours with a friend. My friend got a 32 inch pike right away on a double 10. Then ten minnutes later I had a mid 30 inch Muskie hit and miss a topraider. The fish then waked the lure and ended up hitting and missing the bait in the figure 8. Then four casts later I caught a 35 incher. Got out tonight for a few hours. Caught a 43 incher on a topraider, on the last spot of the night. That was the only fish I saw. Posts: 294 Location: Bloomer, Wi | Got this 41 on the 1st cast! I was throwing a stillwater on the chippewa river from shore, miss 2 more that morning, fog was so thick you could hardly see the topwater coming in. ( by myself, reason for poor pic)Had 2 oppertunitys last night but could convert, did land a 18" smallie on dbl 10 after dark though.
