| how do you get a bait to have the chrome or gold look |

| I'll assume that your talking about the base colour of the lure, after which you will be adding other colours or accents. There are only two ways I'm familiar with; paint or foil. Foil is a little more work but will give you the real deal. Paint can work alright if you have a quality paint over an extremely smooth base then cleared with a coat of Etex or 2Ton. I suppose if you were into metal baits (eg. Canadian Wigglers) you get get into electroplating which would give you the truest metallic finish achieveable. |

Location: Land of the Musky | Cheap mans way too is to use silver or gold Rustoleum and then a few coats of epoxy. You can also do aluminum or gold foil with epoxy over it. |
