Sorry for the late report but wanted to get this up for everyone in the Muskiefirst outing and good luck to all. Also congrats to bigman for his 50.50 incher as everyone in my group is getting settled in back at home. Looks like you guys will have a better week than we had. Here is the following report.

Water Temps: 73-65 Degrees

It was great getting back to Spring Bay Resort on Lake Vermilion for my annual outing. Weather was pretty bad with drops in water temps of almost 8 degrees and rain most of the week. There was 8 muskies caught out of my group for the week here is the break down.

2-under 30 inches
1-37 inches
2-40 inches
1-42 inches
1-44 inches
1-46 inches

Jeff Whitney took the big fish pot for his 46 incher and Jeff Gayhart took the pot for most fish caught with his 37 and 44 incher. Muskies were caught from both weeds and rocks on glide baits, crank baits and topwaters. Big muskies were seen in both weeds and rocks but would not commit to anything. Thanks to all who attended my outing and I look forward to having everyone back in 2010 and hopefully better weather. I will post pictures soon.
