He didn't complain when I got him out of bed at 4am. The muskie gods shined down for putting in the time & effort. I'm one proud papa.

Here is a picture of Joey's first muskie over 40". Before this fish, one & only muskie was a 29" Tiger..

45.25"er caught on lake Mohawksin.

He followed it up with a 35"er the next day on Onida. Dad at this point has a 21'er out of Little arbor Vida, so he makes sure to tell me that..

Great job Joey!!! Congratulations. I'll bet he's still smiling, huh Mike? Looks like you'll have a perminent boat partner. Wait until he gets into the sucker/quickset game...he'll love that, too.

Thanks all -
He kept on saying, nine thousand nine hundred and ninty nine every cast except that one. I just herd a GOT ONE, I got a quick glance of the fish before it went strait to the bottom. He's asking me to take him to the lake by the zoo (Wingra) already.. I call it lake goonie goo goo, just put you head in the water & you come up with fish Gus.. Not really because I get skunked on Wingra all the time, but it's funny anyway.

Too bad School started today or we could make a run after work hours.. Mom would have my @ss in the ringer if I kept him out late on a school night.

Working for the weekends.

Congrats to your son! Nothing better as a parent than seeing your kids succeed. He's got a great looking fish under his belt...now if we could just get him a better looking hat!

Great Fish ! Great Photo ! And a great father son memory that will last a lifetime--That is what it's all about. Congratulations to your son and also to yourself for teaching and sharing the gift of fishing and spending time with your kids. I have also had the opportunity to teach my 2 son's about fishing and sharing the same experience's and memory's that you now have--Best of times !!!
