We want to try Bald Eagle tomorrow. Does anyone know:
1. how much bloom there is?
2. are there new rocks we should be aware of?

thanks,
Tom

There is quite a lot of bloom especially on the south end and water clarity throughout is still very low. The water is down some but havent found any new rocks as of lately

The bloom isn't as bad as most years, but it is definitely green. Certainly not pea soup like most August/ Septembers yet. You won't see much for follows, however, so make sure you're doing your figure 8's. As far as rocks, there are only two area to look out for. The south tip of the big island where it drops right off into 30 feet has a few, and the rock bar, which is marked. Just be cautious if you're going to work around the rock bar. Don't go over it with your big motor way down or you will find a rock.
No fish in Bald Eagle anyway. Go to Minnetonka.
