Looking to pick up a Ranger boat in the Wisconsin / Illinois area. Have heard some good and not so good things about some of the dealers. Anyone have any recommendations (both good and bad experiences). Lot of money to put down and want to make sure I go with someone I can count on.

I bought mine from Pamps in Green Bay. So far so good. Wendy was easy to deal with during the sale

z,
We don't post 'bad experiences' here, because in most cases we are looking at subjective stuff from Anon folks. We recommend folks post why they would go to dealer A, B, or C, not why they wouldn't. Keeps things clean and friendly, and get's you what you need...recommendations for a top shelf dealer.

1) Pamps
2) M&W

Good dealers, good service record, both been in business for a very long time.

M and J in Wausau has not let me down yet.

Mazennette in Madision is also good---adressed any issues promptly.

If you want to make the trip you will be awfully happy with the folks at Frankies in Chisago Lake MN. 10 miles from the WI border. Family owned and in business since dirt was invented. I have purchased 3 from them and have been happy all the time. My brother bought there this Spring got a great deal. Stop in, see Frankie and tell him that Mike Hoen sent you in. Might just be worth the trip. Oh yeah, I used to sell Rangers there as well.

Sam at Beford Sales has always treated me good. I'm definitely going back when I need to replace my Ranger.

the guys in rhinelander at schoeder's are good friends over years and the kind of people that you will be happy dealing with. the general manager is jess spiegelhoff and the sales guys have been there for years. give them a shout and a chance to work with you and i'm sure they'll work hard to make you happy. i've bought campers and sleds from them and know them in the community as great people to do business with.
