Going up next week and have been told to give this lake a try. Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience on this lake that would benefit me on what conditions to wait for to fish this lake and what techniques...etc...?
thanks for the help

Bret, I wish I could help you out more; but I've only been on the lake once and that was just for a few hours. I have talked to someone who fished the lake somewhat regularly and they said that there are some big fish in the lake, but there are better choices. We were there in late, late fall so the lake was pretty as there wasn't that much development on it if I remember right. I'm pretty sure there's Lakers in it as well.
Sorry I can't help anymore. Good luck if you do go up there and let me know how you do.

I know someone who has a place on the lake. They don't musky fish and have not seen one but the lake is extremely clear and deep. I have heard the same as above elsewhere, very low population of muskies and some big ones.
